I want to show you a simple breathing technique called a yoga breathing technique to help you ease yourself from stress.
In 2016 during my battle of inflammation, after my surgery, I was having difficulties of walking, speaking, and breathing. I had to use an inhaler. So I integrated this yoga breathing technique that had a huge impact on my health.
I still apply this breathing technique daily to help me ease myself of stress.
However, I do not own this technique. I learned it during my time at integrative nutrition school and it’s been very beneficial to my health that’s why I’m sharing this with you.
With that cleared, let’s crush it.
The breathing technique to ease stress
It is a simple breathing technique. You have to breathe from your stomach all the way up through one of your nostril to your third eyes.
What is your third eye? Your third eye is basically your subconscious mind. You have to be able to tap into your subconscious mind by envisioning the shape of your brain.
If you’re a beginner you can use your hand, once you master the skill you won’t have to use your hand.
So use your index finger and hold on to your left nostril down as shown below:

Then inhale from your gut through your right nostril all the way while closing your eyes and try to envision the shape of your own brain. Hold on to the breath right up there.
Pay attention to the movement of your breath and hold on to it for as long as you can.
Then close your right nostril and exhale slowly through your left nostril all the way to your gut.

Next, repeat the movement: inhale from the right nostril and exhale from the left.
It is a very relaxing process and would make you feel sleepy. You can be sure it will take you from a state of stress to a state of humility, contentment, and peace.
