Some of your favorite foods may be putting you at risk of inflammation.
Inflammation is triggered by excess toxins in the body. But by reducing (or out rightly stop) your intake of certain foods you give your body a fighting chance against inflammation.
What are these foods that can cause inflammation?
- Sugar
- Dairy (I mean all dairy products)
- Gluten sources including wheat, bread, and pasta
- Deep fried foods or highly processed foods or genetically modified food products.
The above foods are loaded with toxins that can trigger inflammation in the body. I would know since I’m a survival of inflammation myself.
Many years after battling inflammation I decided to educate myself and take a look at my nutrition. I noticed some peculiarities with my body.
I realized that anytime I ate any of the above foods my inflammatory conditions got worse because of my reaction to the food.
Because of this, I adopted the elimination technique. So I removed all the bad food and then reintroduced a few weeks later and observed how my body reacted.
From then on I began to build a relationship with my body, paying attention to signs and following what my body was telling me. That helped me to identify the type of food I should feed my body.
Through this elimination technique, I was able to identify those four types of food that are highly likely to trigger inflammation.
Don’t get me wrong, I do believe in our individual peculiarities. That’s why encourage you to identify foods that are not palatable with your food using my elimination technique.
Using this approach, you will be able to build a relationship with your body, learn how to listen to your body.
Your body is more intelligent than you know. It has the capacity to heal or renew itself even against inflammation.
So it is most vital to know your body, identify your triggers and feed your body with the right food.
